This position is a salary plus commission with a salary starting at $78,000 with a commission package enabling the successful candidate the opportunity to earn in excess of $200,000 per year.

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with Commercial, Industrial, Institutional, and Government agencies clients. - Minimum 5 years of experience in relationship-based sales.

The ability to get on roofs daily using a ladder.
- Roofing / Construction sales experience is helpful, but not required.
- You are experienced in Outside Sales...Ideally in roofing, roof maintenance services, or general construction.
- You have had sales success in the competitive roofing/construction markets where your products and services were not the least expensive.
- You have excelled at finding new opportunities, building rapport, gaining trust, and managing all the steps in the sales process. You separate yourself from competitors due to your tenacity, motivation, and "can-do attitude". You know what it takes to become a client “trusted advisor”.
- You understand construction plans and blueprints, specifications, and can do quantitative take-offs and run estimates for projects. You enjoy working outdoors, getting your "hands dirty" and the excitement of working on various types of projects.
- You are the "A" salesperson who has had success selling roofing and construction-related services to Building Owners, Facility Managers, Property Managers, and other decision-makers in a longer sales cycle. You also know that building and maintaining those relationships are the key to future business.
- You are a self-starter who has exceptional hunting, qualifying, and closing skills.
- You are effective at overcoming resistance and able to work independently.
You will be selling commercial roofing maintenance, repairs, and systems to a variety of customers throughout the Florida market. You will work with some existing accounts, however, your main focus will be on new business development building relationships, evaluating and identifying customer issues, qualifying potential new clients, performing a full survey of the roofing system, and creating & delivering a solution-based plan and proposal to close the sale.
You will develop your sales plans in concert with our Sales Manager, report progress and document progress and next steps in our CRM.
You will also be involved in each closed deal doing site visits, working with the Production and Maintenance teams, managing and preparing various documentation and stay involved until the project is closed out.
You will have a fair amount of autonomy since we are not micro managers. You will be trained and coached in our proven sales process to help you build business.
